Some of the best and most expensive homes reside in the ultra-exclusive
and rich neighborhood of Whistler Blueberry Hill. Falcon Ridge
for example located high in Whistler Blueberry Hill on it’s
own bluff at just over 9,000 square feet and second largest
home on the market is a mere $13 million.
Although Whistler Blueberry Hill is home to some of the richest
people in the area, there are town homes, chalets and high-end
chalets ranging in price from ¾ of a million dollars to
over 6 million dollars, a lot less in comparison to Falcon Ridge.
Although Whistler Blueberry Hill estates are the playground for
the areas ultra rich, you do not have to be extremely rich to
purchase a property in this area.
The great thing about Whistler Blueberry Hill is it does allow
for a wide range of homesteads while still maintaining the right
clientele to continue to attract the high end buyers. With the
recent real-estate boom over the past few years prices in the
Whistler Blueberry Hill housing market have also increased which
is good for sellers but bad for buyers.
Where is Whistler Blueberry Hill located and is it accessible
for my kids to get to the village?
Depending on which way you are traveling to Whistler Blueberry
Hill and area there is a variety of forms of transportation
available. Car, rail and driving are the most popular forms
of transportation available, and during the mild seasons there
is the option of helicopter or airplane as an alternate. If
arriving from the United States then there are 3 border crossing
in the Vancouver region – the Peach Arch, Truck Crossing
and Aldergrove Crossing will all get you on your way to Whistler
Blueberry Hill area. The Peach Arch is the most popular crossing,
but that also leads to longer line ups during peak travel times
and seasons. The newly renovated world class Vancouver International
Airport located 20 minutes south of the city, is also a great
way to begin your travels to Whistler Blueberry Hill and area.
Upon landing there are numerous limo-taxis that will whisk you
to Whistler Blueberry Hill and area that are very reasonably
priced when compared to renting a car or hiring a bus. Whichever
way you choose to get to Whistler Blueberry Hill, if it’s
by road it will take approximately 90-100 minutes from downtown
Vancouver or rail once you arrive you will not be disappointed
at what awaits! Whistler Blueberry Hill is only minutes from
the lifts and gondolas of the village and it is a great place
to buy or rent a vacation home. BC public transit to the area
is maintained by regular service as a great alternative to driving
and dealing with the hassles and expenses of parking in or near
the main village.

There is an abundance of outdoor activities to partake in once
you have arrived at Whistler Blueberry Hill. With overlooking
view of Whistler Golf Club, and minutes from Alta lake Whistler
Blueberry Hill is in the ideal location to kick start your summer
vacation. Not only is Whistler Blueberry Hill located minutes
from the Whistler Golf Club, it is only a few minutes drive
to the famous Nicklaus North golf course that was designed by
the great Jack Nicklaus. If golf is not your idea of a great
time, there are many other outdoor activities to do in the Whistler
Blueberry Hill and surrounding area such as kayaking, white
water rafting, hiking, downhill mountain biking, and endless
hiking trails are just some of the fun things to do! Don’t
forget to pack and be prepared for the whatever adventures you
decide to embark on while staying in the Whistler Blueberry
Hill area.
