skiing. However, once in a while you may want to try alternatives
such as cross country, Heli-skiing, Snowcat skiing, and Glacier
Skiing.
Cross country Whistler skiing is a nonstop adventure, it gives
you a chance to admire the breathtaking nature of Whistler,
and there is no need to wait at any chairlift lineups. The two
recommended locations for Whistler cross country skiing is in
the Lost Lake region, and Callaghan Valley. Heli-skiing is an
adventure for intermediate to advanced skiers. This activity
gives the opportunity to do some off-trail Whistler skiing that
can only be reached by helicopter. For those who have gone heli-skiing,
it is nothing short of a euphoric experience. Snowcat skiing
gives the opportunity to people to try guided backcountry Whistler
skiing. This is a full day adventure offered by Blackcomb Snowmobiles
Ltd. And Blacktusk Black, and includes a buffet breakfast, lunch,
transportation, and safety equipment. Now the last skiing alternative
is truly unique: it is Whistler skiing on a glacier. Whistler
Blackcomb is the only resort in North America to offer such
an experience. Glacier skiing is available in the summer in
Blackcomb Mountain’s Horstman’s Glacier.

around the world. Not only are the ski runs spectacular, but
there are also multitudes of trails to choose from. In addition
to the over 200 downhill Whistler skiing runs, there are Parks
